About Sunflower Sprouts
Sunflower Sprouts is a mobile creative movement preschool program. Our goal is to encourage every child to learn and express themselves through creative movement and music.
Our weekly theme based classes are held conveniently at your child’s daycare or preschool. Each theme inspires children to use their imagination through different activities that help promote physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.

Is this program for girls and boys? YES! It is for both girls and boys. All of our themes are designed for both girls and boys alike.
What is creative movement? Creative movement is a fun and engaging way learning can be enhanced through moving. Creative movement has a positive impact on physical development, social skills, sensory awareness, and the mind and body connection.

Where does Sunflower Sprouts take place? Classes take place at your child’s preschool or daycare location, during their normal school hours. No driving your child to and from class, they are already there and we come to them! See the Registration page for a list of participating schools.
My child already takes dance class, why should they do this too? Dance classes are great for promoting positive self esteem, motor movement development, and logical skills all through learning specific styles of dance such as ballet, tap, or jazz. However creative movement does not focus on learning how to dance specific styles. Instead creative movement focuses in on moving throughout space while using different concepts to help promote everyday learning through guided exercises and play.
